About My Inspiration
I want to share with you how the inspiration for my blog came about. While reading the Bible Scriptures below, I believe God spoke to me and placed on my heart to be creative and spread His Word through the internet. So God, through His Word, provided me a way to live my faith.
Ministers and teachers tell you that you should seek God’s Word when you have a problem or need to resolve issues, which is great advice. However, what Scripture and where in the Bible do you read and study for that particular issue or problem that you need to find? Therefore, that is the inspiration for my blog, to provide a resource for people to find those Scriptures they need for the issues in their lives. I also want to provide people through, God’s Word, to receive comfort, encouragement, guidance, hope, inspiration, joy, love, and peace.
For my daily devotional time I read the Upper Room www.upperroom.org this handy magazine provides a Scripture to read, a quoted verse, a “story”, a prayer, thought for the day, and a prayer focus. I wanted to share and provide the opportunity for everyone to be able to read and study God’s Word through a daily devotional blog.
About My Inspiration through Scriptures
From this Scripture I know God will prepare me and will fully equip me to create a blog that will provide inspiration for others.
2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.
About the Inspiration to Live My Faith
2 Corinthians 5:18-21 – All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. We are Christ’s ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, “Be reconciled to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
* – As the Scripture says “…wonderful message he has given us to tell others.” In the note about this Scripture, it says: “Because we have been reconciled to God, we have the privilege of encouraging others to do the same, and thus we are those who have ‘the task of reconciling people to him.’”
